Planning Your Visit

We do not have any direct parking at The Nell Gwynne, but we are just a 5-minute walk from Covent Garden tube station, on the Picadilly Line. Charing Cross or Waterloo are our nearest overground stations. You can also access Covent Garden VIA The Central Line (Holborn) and Bakerloo Line (Charing Cross). Busses regularly arrive and depart on the Strand.

You are more than welcome to bring decorations for your event; however, we do not allow confetti, confetti filled balloons or streamers in any of our spaces.

Unfortunately, due to licensing, The Nell Gwynne is strictly an Over 18’s venue only.

Local Area Info

We are just a 2-minute walk from London’s iconicCovent Garden, one of London’s most famous theatres and shopping districts and thebustling Seven Dials. The City of London is a 10–15-minute journey from us on TheElizabeth Line.

Dog Policies

All dogs are welcome in our venue, but must be kept on a lead at all times.

The entrance has a small step up into the venue but owing to the fact we are in a very small and historic building the Nell Gwynne is not fully accessible.  Our bathrooms are situated in the basement with a small staircase the only possible route down.

Consumption of own product on the premises.

We do not allow corkage or consumption of drinks, however, if you wish to discuss catering, please give the team a call to discuss options/prices. Birthday cakes are allowed – please let us know if you plan to bring one along!
